4-star resort located in a natural environment directly connected to the Ria Formosa. It has 340 rooms distributed across two buildings, operating under an all-inclusive regime. It offers a variety of services in the areas of dining, culture, sports, and wellness activities.

Challenge

The overall plan focused on the complete conversion of the previous apartment accommodation units into rooms and common-use spaces. The intervention was scheduled to be carried out in three phases. The design of the corridors and elevator lobby sought to integrate natural materials, exploring the aesthetic potential of the interior balconies leading to the rooms. Following the hotel's nature and beach philosophy, sophistication was maintained with the use of select materials and textures. Through an articulated pergola that crowns the triple-height central void, nuances of natural lighting were explored, while also ensuring air renewal and climate control through natural means, in line with a sustainable design strategy.
