Description

This 4* hotel is located in front of Praia da Rocha, in Portimão. With Mediterranean-inspired architecture, the hotel has 90 rooms overlooking the Atlantic. It offers large rooms, different dining and bar options, gym and lounge areas, in a privileged environment and location.

Challenge

Underlying the design options was the creation of an exclusive oriental-inspired environment. The spaciousness of the rooms achieved by the elimination of kitchenettes allowed exploring different areas (desk, reading, sleeping). We opted for a palette of soft colors complemented with different notes in cork (floor), wood (furniture), wallpaper (bedside), and textiles with vibrant patterns and colors. From the attentive look to the lighting, individualized areas resulted in a more refined environment.
