Description

A 4-star resort located in a natural environment with direct access to the Ria Formosa. It has 340 rooms spread across two buildings, operating on an all-inclusive basis. It offers a variety of services in the areas of dining, culture, sports, and wellness activities.

Challenge

The overall plan was based on the complete conversion of the previous apartment accommodation units into rooms and common use spaces. The intervention was scheduled to be executed in three phases. The design of the 152 rooms sought to evoke an atmosphere of natural elements inspired by the surroundings of the Ria Formosa, with touches of sophistication in some materials such as wood and stone. By taking advantage of the transparency effects of glass and the concept of open and interconnected spaces, the issue of the limited room size was overcome, providing the guest with an environment of lightness, sophistication, and comfort.
