Description

A 4-star resort situated in a natural environment in direct connection with the Ria Formosa. It has 340 rooms spread across two buildings in an all-inclusive regime. It offers a variety of services in the areas of dining, culture, sports, and wellness activities.

Challenge

The overall plan was based on the complete conversion of the previous apartment accommodation units into rooms and common-use spaces. The intervention was scheduled to be carried out in three phases. The design of the 152 rooms aimed to evoke an atmosphere of natural elements inspired by the surroundings of the Ria Formosa, with touches of sophistication in some materials such as wood and stone. By taking advantage of the transparency effects of glass and the concept of open and connected spaces, the issue of the rooms' small size was overcome, offering the guest an environment of lightness, sophistication, and comfort.
